DREAM Act 2010 will give thousands of young illegal immigrants bring to the United States before 16 years old, and who have been here for 5 years and graduated from high school or gained an equivalency degree, a chance to gain become legal status if they joined the military or attended college.
The DREAM Act, providing wiht a path to permanent citizenship for children who had brought to the United States by illegal immigrants, is on the agenda for the possible action in the final days of the Democratic-majority 111th Congress, though opponents of the proposal. Among them U.S. Rep. Ted Poe, R-Texas--have amped up efforts to defeat it.
Well, The home and Senate could vote as soon as Wednesday on a bill that will grant citizenship eligibility to a large number of young unlawful immigrants if they go to university or serve within the military.
