turrets syndrome

Thursday, February 10, 2011

A person with Tourette’s has about a 50% chance of passing the gene(s) to one of his or her children. It is estimated that 200,000 Americans have the most severe form of TS, and as many as one in 100 exhibit milder and less complex symptoms such as chronic motor or vocal tics or transient tics of childhood.

American Idol: A deceased absent dad, Tourrets Syndrome, Autism, and teenage parents. This season’s last sob story had it all. Oh, and he could sing. So we didn’t need all the rest of that stuff, did we Idol? I’m glad auditions are over, because this season has been as exploitive as ever.

This is the list of famous people with turrets syndromes:
Tim Howard
Howard Hughes
Marc Summers
David Beckham
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Dr. Samuel Johnson
Jim Eisenreich
Michael Wolff
