Rich Rodriguez has fired by head of football in tuesday after three years on
Michigan.
Rodriguez was a hottest and best coaching commodities in AS while he arrived in Ann Arbor from West Virginia. Well, After take up the cudgels for West Virginia in the BCS title game in 2007,
Rich Rod had teased Alabama after the 2006 season before spurning them and working himself a big raise with the Mountaineers.
However, The next season he was lured away by Michigan to take over for the retired/fired Lloyd Carr and was mostly noted for the subsequent lawsuit by WVU over his bonuses as he hit the country roads of West Virginia for another place he belonged.
It seems the firing is not official yet and that maybe someone at Fox 2 pulled the switch a little early. David Brandon has not made an announcement and Rich Rodriguez has not notified his staff yet. Sources are saying they are still meeting.
